Anker confirms its new Qi2 MagGo devices can wirelessly charge the iPhone at 15W

Anker's recently announced MagGo products can support Qi2 wireless charging on the iPhone.

Anker is the second accessory maker to confirm faster 15W wireless charging for selected iPhone models when Qi2 launches in the holiday season.

In an email statement to The Verge, Anker spokesperson Mary Woodbury shared that the company's new MagGo products support 15W charging for the iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models.

Anker's confirmation came three months after Belkin revealed to The Verge that Belkin's Qi2 chargers "should charge iPhone 15 devices at up to 15W"

Anker announced several Qi2-equipped wireless chargers at IFA 2023 which include a 10,000mAh power bank with a kickstand and an LCD screen, a 6,600mAh power bank that can fold out to a stand, and three multi-device charging stations.

The Wireless Power Consortium shared that over 100 devices including those from Anker, Belkin and Mophie are currently in testing or in the certification testing queue. When these devices hit the market in the coming weeks, consumers especially iPhone users will be spoilt for choice as it is the first time that they are not restricted to Apple's MagSafe chargers.
