Android 9.0 Pie may be coming to Samsung Galaxy devices in Jan 2019

Android 9.0 Pie has been released for about two months, but Samsung Galaxy users may have to wait for a few months for the software update to arrive on their devices.

According to SamMobile, Samsung France has notified its community members that the Android 9.0 Pie update could come in January 2019. It also revealed details on some new features that the software update will bring, which include support for VoLTE and VoWiFi for the second SIM of dual-SIM models, option for users to access recorded videos in Gallery, the ability of the phone to read the name and phone number when there is an incoming call, and the option to cut audio recordings to only listen to the parts you want within the app.

Samsung has yet to announce a beta program for its flagship Galaxy devices and when it does, the rolling out of the Android 9.0 update won’t be too far off.
