The upcoming iPhone SE model could be a popular hit among consumers according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

In his latest research note, Kuo expects Apple to ship at least 20 million units of the next generation iPhone SE model in 2020. An optimistic estimate would put the sales number at 30 million units.

Kuo also shared that the new iPhone model will use a 10-layer Substrate-like PCB (SLP) for the motherboard, which is a less expensive component than the SLP used in the iPhone 11 series.

Kuo previously wrote that the next generation iPhone SE model will enter mass production in January 2020 with a likely launch at the end of March. Estimated to be priced at US$399, the new iPhone SE model is rumoured to be powered by the A13 chipset, 3GB RAM and have an improved antenna design.
