AMPed 2.0 Provides Local Music for Mobile Streaming and Download

SingTel has announced a partnership with the Singapore Music Society.

Through the SingTel AMPed 2.0 music service, music of local independent artistes will be available for streaming and downloading to mobile devices for the first time. Music from majority of Singapore artistes, as well as independent labels and production houses is expected to be available through AMPed 2.0.

The enhanced AMPed 2.0 service offers an extensive song catalogue, with unlimited downloads and streaming of more than three million songs from different genres and eras, and smooth streaming of songs to Apple and Android smartphones. Additionally, users can start communities, create and share playlists, and post comments. Song samples can also be shared via social networking sites, email, and SMS. On top of that, AMPed 2.0 inclues Smart Mix, a feature which intelligently creates a playlist based on the user's preference.

AMPed 2.0 is available at S$5.90 per month (Lite), or S$9.90/S$7.90 per month with a 12-month contract (Premium).
