AMD is preparing a new version of Radeon Software called Adrenalin

AMD has teased an upcoming version of its Radeon Software in a video on the company’s YouTube page.

Dubbed Adrenalin, the new driver may be the next major update to the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition

The video was unsurprisingly sparse on the details, and other than a vague introductory text, the rest of the video just features fancy visual effects and close-ups of a Radeon GPU.

AMD has had a busy year with the release of its Ryzen processors and Vega GPUs. Now, the company looks like it’s hoping to get a final word in by making a big deal about its next driver update.

Some features on AMD’s Radeon RX Vega GPUs, such primitive shading for faster triangle culling, have not yet been enabled, but Adrenalin may finally bring these online. Whatever the case, we shouldn't have to wait long to find out, as the update is supposedly arriving this December.
