We last reported that European telcos have been stocking up on millions of nano SIM cards in anticipation of the launch of Apple's next-gen iPhone. These cards are said to be 40% smaller than the current smallest SIM card design, which will allow manufacturers like Apple to make smaller and thinner smartphones. In an unsurprising 'twist' of events, photos of the alleged nano SIM tray for the upcoming iPhone have made its way on the Internet. Nothing else has changed with the design however, save for its size.

That's not the only leaked iPhone 5 component to show up on the world wide web; the new Home button has been spotted as well, with a largely unchanged design save for the fact that it has been made smaller design, perhaps done so to make more room for the bigger 4.0-inch screen for the new iPhone.

GSMArena - "But if these are the genuine article, then their colors tell us something interesting - there will a black and white iPhone (not surprising), but the black one will have black sides (note the painted tray) rather than the grey metallic sides of the current design. They look like they match the leaked next-gen iPhone shells."

We have slightly over a month to go before the official iPhone 5 announcement arrives, so stay tuned to our website for more details.
