As expected, LG Electronics is taking the opportunity at CES 2015 to unveil its latest crop of TVs. We already knew about its 2015 LCD TV lineup, which is led by the UF9500 series. Available in 55, 65, and 79-inch screen sizes, the UF9500 is now revealed as the only one (so far) to receive the ColorPrime branding, due to its use of LG’s Wide Color LED tech. It's also the only set to get the new Ultra Slim design treatment for a very thin cabinet. On the other hand, the UF9400 is the only series to use the quantum dots tech.

Plenty of 4K OLED TVs

Of course, LG is still investing very heavily in OLED, and in 2015, all its OLED TV offerings are also 4K TVs. Available in 55, 65, and 77-inch screen sizes, we've a mix of curved and flatscreen models, and they all run on the new WebOS 2.0 smart TV platform. Leading the pack is the curved EG9600 series (55 and 65 inches), and the curved EG9700 (77 inches). For those who can’t decide between a curved TV and a flat TV, watch out for the 77-inch EG9900, which is a ‘flexible TV’ that allows you to switch the display from curved to flat at the touch of a button.

Here's the 65-inch LG EG9600 curved 4K OLED TV in action and it goes without saying that it was a sight to behold.

For those who love the image quality of OLED but don’t care two hoots about curved displays, LG has a few flatscreen OLED TVs too, such as the EF9500 series (55 and 65 inches) and the EF9800 series (65 inches only at the moment). While the EF9500 has a built-in sound system co-developed with Harman Kardon, the EF9800 has an external Harman Kardon sound bar. The latter can also be seen somewhat as the flat and smaller version of the EG9900, with both sporting the same deca-core processor (yes, 10 cores!).

Notice the elegantly designed external sound bar of the 65-inch EF9800 flat 4K OLED TV that blends in with the TV's design. This is the only model and size that will feature this design at this point of time.

Like before, we expect the model names of these TVs to be slightly different when they arrive here. Pricing is also unavailable at this point in time. We’ll post more details down the road when we’ve them.
