Aftershock has announced an affordable 4K monitor that costs around the same as many lower resolution monitors. The PRISM+ P270 is a 27-inch screen targeted at content creators, featuring a crisp AHVA panel and 99 per cent coverage of the sRGB color space.

The monitor features a slim-bezel design that makes it suitable for use in multi-monitor setups, and the AHVA panel affords a 178-degree viewing angle that should be more than sufficient for most situations. It also has a 75Hz refresh rate and supports AMD FreeSync, so you should have minimal tearing and stuttering if you choose to game on the monitor.

At a launch price of S$369, the PRISM+ P270 will go head to head with SuperSolid’s X270, another affordable 4K monitor vying for your wallet.

The tilt stand on the PRISM+ P270 doesn’t allow for height or swivel adjustments, but it will work with VESA-compatible mounts so you can mount the screen on your wall.

In addition, Aftershock says that the monitor uses Grade A+ panels, which refers to the highest quality of panels with the fewest imperfections.

The monitor will be available to buy at COMEX 2018. You can also order it on PRISM+’s website. In addition, Aftershock will let you trade-in your old monitor to get further discounts.
