Aftershock's Apex 15X features the latest Intel and NVIDIA hardware, 240Hz display, and mechanical keyboard

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Apex 15X, Aftershock's latest flagship 15-inch gaming notebook.

The Apex 15X comes in an aluminium alloy body and features a 15.6-inch 240Hz Full-HD display with thin bezels.

It also features Intel's and NVIDIA's latest and greatest gaming hardware. The processor is Intel's new 8-core Core i7-10875H. And as for GPU, customers will be able to choose between NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2060 and GeForce RTX 2070 Super.

8GB of memory comes as standard but the maximum the notebook can accommodate is 32GB.

One notable feature of the Apex 15X is that it has a mechanical keyboard with per-key RGB lighting effects, 101 N-key rollover, anti-ghosting, and a rated lifespan of 20 million presses.

Finally, for connectivity and ports, the Apex 15X supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard and comes with full-size USB-A ports, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port.

To recap, the base configuration of the Apex 15X features the following:

  • Intel Core i7-10875H
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6
  • 15.6-inch 240Hz Full-HD display
  • 8GB DDR4 2,666MHz memory
  • 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD

And it is priced at S$2,439. The NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super, which is probably the GPU that most readers will want to opt for, is an S$551 optional extra.
