Discover how ASUS is making home networking seamless, secure and future-proof with its extendable routers
As technology continues to advance rapidly, our homes have become increasingly interconnected. With a growing number of devices in use and the expanding size and complexity of our living spaces, maintaining a stable, high-speed Wi-Fi connection throughout the house has become quite a challenge. Enter ASUS, a brand known for its innovation and quality, on a mission to reshape the home networking landscape by introducing a new networking concept: the "Extendable Router."
ASUS' Extendable Routers cater to various users, from budget-conscious individuals to high-end enthusiasts. Whether you're seeking an affordable option without sacrificing quality or the pinnacle of home networking performance, ASUS has got you covered. The groundbreaking concept of "Extendable Routers" lies at the heart of this innovation, promising to change how we experience Wi-Fi at home.
Extendable routers provide one single, seamless Wi-Fi network for the whole home. When it’s time to extend your network, you can simply add another unit to the mix. This system doesn’t require you to switch networks as you move about. |
A significant issue many users face is the presence of Wi-Fi dead zones, often caused by factors such as interference from other devices, building materials, and router distance. While we've some old tips to help alleviate these issues, the best solution is to get networking gear that's designed from the ground up, such as ASUS' Extendable Routers that confront this problem directly with their extension-ready technology. By integrating AiMesh technology, these routers can create a seamless roaming network, eliminating dead zones and providing consistent, high-speed coverage throughout your entire home.
ASUS doesn't stop there. In a time when digital security has become more critical than ever, the company ensures that its Extendable Routers offer extendable, commercial-grade network security without subscription fees. This means you can benefit from top-of-the-line security features that protect all your devices without emptying your wallet. It's a win-win situation for tech-savvy users who value both performance and safety.
A regular router and a Wi-Fi extender (or a Wi-Fi repeater) are much less convenient. You may need to toggle your Wi-Fi off and on every time you move around your house just to stay connected. In some scenarios, even when you are closer to the main router, your device could still be connected to the Wi-Fi extender, which may be sending a weaker signal because it’s in another room. |
ASUS recognises that contemporary home networks demand advanced features to accommodate the needs of various family members. That's why they've engineered their extendable routers to seamlessly integrate features such as parental controls, VPNs, and more across your entire home network. With ASUS, you can guarantee that everyone in your household experiences a consistent and personalised connection, regardless of their location or device.
Setting up and managing your home network shouldn't be a daunting task, and ASUS has made it simpler than ever with their user-friendly ASUS Router app. Compatible with both Android and iOS devices, the app allows you to easily control and monitor your network from your smartphone. With an intuitive interface that appeals to both beginners and experienced users, you can enjoy powerful network management without requiring technical expertise.
Lastly, ASUS' extendable routers are designed with future-proof Wi-Fi technology in mind. As the home networking landscape evolves, it's crucial to invest in a solution that can adapt to new advancements. With ASUS’ Extendable Routers, you're not only investing in a cutting-edge product for today but also a solution that will keep up with the latest technological innovations. That's the beauty of an Extendable Router platform as it can work with current and upcoming routers to plug-n-play.
The future of home networking has arrived, and it has never been more seamless, secure, or powerful. If you're considering upgrading your home network or merely exploring the world of extendable routers, here are some recommendations:

What is Cybersecurity Labelling Scheme (CLS) and why should you care?
The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has launched the Cybersecurity Labelling Scheme (CLS) for consumer smart devices, as part of an effort to improve Internet of Things (IoT) security, raise overall cyber hygiene levels and better secure Singapore's cyberspace.
The asterisks on the label are indicative of different levels of rating within the CLS, with Level 1 meeting basic security requirements, and all the way up to Level 4 which has undergone stringent structured penetration tests by approved independent labs.
With all these factors considered, users will now have a better understanding when it comes to choosing their next Wi-Fi Router or Mesh system.
