Add-in Partners Announce GeForce GTX 660 Ti Graphics Cards
NVIDIA has rolled out the GeForce GTX 660 Ti, which adopts the same 28nm Kepler architecture as the GTX 670 and 680.
The card comes in three different configurations - Ti being the highest end of the three, standard version 660 touted to be announced in September, as well as the SE version, which will most likely feature the lowest clockspeeds with less shaders and reduced memory bus width.
Specs-wise, the GTX 660 Ti is pretty comparable to the GTX 670, with both employing 3.54 billion transistors, along with 1344 CUDA cores and 112 texture mapping units. Also, they offer identical base core and memory clock speeds of 915MHz and 6008MHz DDR respectively. The difference is that the GTX 660 Ti has 24 raster operating units while the GTX 670 has 32, and offers a reduced 192-bit memory bus from the latter's 256-bit one.
Priced affordably at US$299 at launch, we give you a quick gist of all the cards by the add-in card manufacturers ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, and Palit:
