The ADATA XPG Spectrix S40 RGB SSD boasts of high performance with customizable RGB lighting to boot
The ADATA XPG Spectrix S40G RGB M.2 2280 SSD is officially launched in Singapore. It boasts of high performance with sequential read and write performance rates of 3,500MB/s and 3,000MB/s respectively. Its 4K random reads are rated up to 300,000 IOPS and 240,000 IOPS.
The drive sports the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface, along with SLC caching and DRAM buffer to achieve its rated peak performance levels. Its performance is on par with the XPG SX8200 Pro SSD.
The XPG Spectrix S40G RGB SSD also supports LDPC (Low-Density Parity-Check) error correcting code technology for detecting and rectifying data errors. With AES 256-bit encryption support, the drive ensures data security.
Its customizable RGB lighting is housed in the drive’s heatsink, making it ideal for rig builders who need a speedy M.2 2280 SSD with pizazz. The drive features 3D TLC NAND and comes in the following capacities, i.e., 512GB and 1TB, priced at S$133 and S$255 respectively. Each drive is backed with a 5-year warranty by Corbell Technology.
