Activities to look out for at Consumer Electronics Fair 2016

There’s a new tech show in town, and it’s called Consumer Electronics Fair (CEF). Organized by the same folks that bring you IT Show and Comex, this year’s CEF is happening on November 17 to 20 at Suntec Singapore; and over these 4 days, you get to enjoy up to 90% overstock clearance sales savings on IT products and accessories. In broad strokes, mobile phones, desktop computers, portable laptops, digital cameras, and e-mobility vehicles can be found on level 4 (Nov 17 - 20), while home electronic goods from brands like Tefal, Braun, and Europace are on level 3 (from Nov 19 - 20) during CEF. Opening hours are 12 to 9pm.

In addition to deals, here are some activities you can look forward to at CEF:

1.) Family Photo Contest

Take a selfie photo with your family and friends and submit it in this Facebook page with a comment on what are the gadgets you’re hoping to get for Christmas, and you will stand a chance to win S$1,000 Newstead cash vouchers.

2.) CEF Instant Lucky Dip

Sign up here and be present at CEF for your instant lucky dip. Up to S$80,000 worth of prizes and vouchers are to be won.

3.) Trade-in

You can trade-in laptops, tablets, smartphones, and PCs at level 4 (hall 404 entrance) for cash vouchers to spend at CEF. Before you bring your device down to the show, remember to get a quote from PC Dreams first.

Trade-in for game consoles and gaming software handled by GameXtreme/Gadget Solution will be at booth 8770. Terms and conditions for that can be found here.

4.) Free screen protector for new laptop purchase

You can get a free e-power screen protector if you purchase a new laptop at CEF. Up to 500 pieces of screen protectors are to be given away each day.
