Acer is joining in on the OLED bonanza with two new gaming monitors, the Predator X45 and Predator X27U. They take their place alongside the likes of LG's new UltraGear OLED display and ASUS' own 27-inch OLED offering at the pinnacle of display tech, offering eye-watering contrast levels, true blacks, and esports-ready 240Hz refresh rates.

The 45-inch Predator X45 has a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel display with an 800R curvature, boasting a narrow, ultra-wide frame that wraps around you. It supports 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space and is outfitted with one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports.

The OLED panel has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, according to Acer, and is HDR10 certified. An adjustable metal stand allows you to position it at just the right height.

The smaller Predator X27U has a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel panel that is more suited for esports use. Like the X45, it also has incredibly fast 0.01s pixel response times, beating out even most TN panels that had long been the standard in competitive gaming.

Both monitors also feature a KVM switch for effortless switching between desktops and laptops without having to change your keyboard and mouse. In addition, there is a USB hub with USB-C for additional gadgets and peripherals.

The exact price and availability will be announced later.
