7 activities to look out for at CEE 2018

The 2018 Consumer Electronics Exhibition (CEE) will once again be held at Suntec Singapore from May 24 to 27. Booths at Level 3 open 11AM, while admission for the Level 4 halls begins 12 noon.

Like past shows, in additions to IT and CE gadget deals, there are a few peripheral activities to look out for. Here’s a quick summary:

1.) Purchase-with-purchase deal

Spend above S$250 in a single receipt (or maximum 3 combined receipts) and you get a chance to purchase a range of products at discounted prices. For example, you can buy the Kaze Bluetooth Fitness WristBand and True Wireless Fitness EarBuds at only S$99. So remember to bring your receipts to the PwP booth at Level 4 (back of Hall 401).

2.) Spend & redeem deals

There are several spend & redeem deals happening this CEE, including:

- Sign up for any telco service or plan to redeem a Corkcicle tumbler worth S$44.90 (limited to 400 pieces each day).

- Spend S$1,000 and above on any laptop (in a single receipt) to redeem a JBL speaker worth S$89.90 (limited to 300 units each day).

- Spend S$500 and above on the same day (maximum 3 combined receipts), and you get to redeem a Microsoft Wireless Mouse (bring your receipts and purchased items to the booth located at the back of Hall 401). Only 250 sets are available each day, and each customer can only make one redemption.

- Redeem a free Mercedes ride home if you spend a minimum of S$2,500 at CEE. If your purchases are from Techanic (Booth 8601), the minimum spend is S$2,000. A maximum of three receipts can be combined.

3.) Up to 50% discounts on “hero” products

According to the organizer, “hero products” with minimum 50% discount will be publicized on its website and Facebook page at 11AM every day (May 24 - 27). Participating brands include Philips, Remax, iRobot, Ranger, and Lightair.

4.) Sure-win instant lucky spin

Up to S$300,000 worth of prizes ranging from notebooks, high-end sound systems, IP cameras, robotic vacuum cleaners, e-mobility vehicles, printers, headphones, and more are waiting to be won. Simply register at www.ceeshow.com.sg/contest-lucky-spin, and bring your confirmation with the QR code to the lucky spin booth at CEE (back of Hall 401).

5.) Gadget trade-ins & repair services

You can trade in old gadgets to get cash vouchers to use at the show.

For PC, notebook, tablet, and phone trade-ins, head down to the entrance of Hall 403.

For TVs, cameras, gaming consoles, and software, head down to the entrance of Hall 405.

For e-mobility trade-ins, head down to Mobot’s booth at Level 4, Booth 8513.

You can also have your phones, tablets, or notebooks serviced by the pros from Digital Hospital. Find out more about this service here.

6.) Backpack trade-ins

Have an old backpack that you don’t want? Bring it to CEE and trade it in at Challenger’s booth (Booth 301) to get S$20 off a new Targus or STM backpack. All collected old backpacks will be donated to the Salvation Army.

7.) Free screen protectors

CH2 is giving away up to 300 pieces of screen protectors to those who’ve bought a new smartphone or tablet at CEE. Simply drop by the Hall 402 entrance and approach the counter staff with your receipt. You can also upgrade to a tempered glass protector for S$5.
