4K Netflix is now available on Windows 10 PCs
Users on Windows 10 devices have something to cheer today - 4K content from Netflix is now available exclusively for compatible PCs and 2-in-1 devices!
In order to enjoy 4K content from Netflix, you need to ensure that your Windows 10 PC has a 4K-capable display and is equipped with a 7th Gen Intel Core processor. Microsoft has a dedicated page with the listing of Windows 10 devices supporting 4K such as the Lenovo Yoga 910 and HP Pavilion Wave. If you've the required hardware specs, sign up or upgrade your Netflix subscription to Premium at S$16.90 per month.
Microsoft also partnered with Netflix to stream Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life in 4K several days before the rest of the world. The Redmond company took the opportunity to boast about its Edge browser, which is stated to provide at least one more full episode of Gilmore Girls than when streaming on Chrome on battery.
