Apple's upcoming 16-inch MacBook Pro could hit retail shelves soon.

According to DigiTimes, Taiwanese manufacturer Quanta Computer has already begun volume shipments of the 16-inch MacBook Pro which suggests that an announcement is imminent. Supply chain sources reiterate that the new MacBook Pro model would come with a more reliable scissor keyboard, an "ultra-thin bezel design" and Intel's latest Coffee Lake refresh or Ice Lake processors.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported on the new scissor keyboard design in July. Taiwanese newspaper United News Daily also claimed the 16-inch MacBook Pro would launch this month with a LCD display resolution of 3,072 x 1,920 pixels and could cost above S$4,000.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro is rumored to ship with a higher-power USB-C adapter. Just two days ago, MacGeneration discovered an icon of the MacBook Pro in the first two betas of macOS Catalina which shows a similar design to the current 15-inch model and have slimmer bezels. Apple could also unveil the AirPods Pro which could go on sale at the end of the month.
