12 Days of Christmas! - KitKat-flavored Android Smartphone

LG Nexus 5

If you’re done with gimmicky features and want to experience Android the way Google intended, the LG-made Nexus 5 (US$349 for 16GB; US$399 for 32GB) is your best bet. Unlike last year’s Nexus 4, the Nexus 5 is every inch a high-end smartphone, with its 4.95-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 800 processor, 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, and support for dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Qi wireless charging. And of course, it runs Android 4.4 KitKat, Google’s latest and greatest mobile operating system.

A bit of advice here: there are two models of the Nexus 5, D820 and D821. Get the D821 if you want to ride on the LTE network here. Also, since neither Google nor LG is selling the Nexus 5 here officially, you’ve to find a way to buy it from overseas. Of course, if you’ve been reading our forums, you’ll already know what to do.
