A temporary fix has been released by Microsoft for the Duqu Trojan, however, the company didn't comment on the timeline for the release of its official patch for this vulnerability.

Symantec has issued a warning of Duqu virus infection via compromised Microsoft Word email attachments from which the Duqu installer executes itself by exploiting a Windows kernel vulnerability.

Researchers have christened a newly uncovered Trojan "Duqu" and is described as the precursor to the infamous Stuxnet due to their striking similarities.
