As successor to the Portege R930, the new notebook comes encased in a black magnesium Tough Body chassis, measures 18.3mm at its thinnest point, and incorporates Toshiba's EasyGuard technology to help safeguard the laptop's critical components.

Toshiba has announced a slew of products including Qosmio and Satellite P-series gaming laptops, Satellite S40 series laptops for everyday use, Portégé Z10t Ultrabook, Excite Pure / Write tablets running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform, Canvio Connect portable hard drives, palm-held Camileo X150 Full HD camcorder, and a USB Mobile LED Monitor.

Toshiba will be launching the Portege Z10t, a hybrid Ultrabook that's geared towards the enterprise environment due to its robust set of security features. It has a display that, when detached from the bundled keyboard dock, becomes a powerful Windows 8 Pro tablet.

Aimed at busy professionals, these enhanced business laptops come equipped with Intel Ivy Bridge processors.

Toshiba has announced business notebooks and desktops catered for busy professionals on-the-go, including the lightweight Portégé Z930 Ultrabook, the Satellite Pro L series, and the Regza LX800 series AIO Desktop PCs.
