(Updated with additional promos!) The Google Pixel 6a and the Google Pixel Buds Pro are officially going on sale in Singapore.

Google unveiled the Pixel 6a at Google I/O 2022’s keynote, and the local pricing on the Google Store.

A phone tipster said that the serial production of Google Pixel 6a has started in “several Asian countries”, although details are sparse.

A handful of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners are complaining that their phones are automatically rejecting calls.

In the near future, users can grab genuine parts for repairing Pixel phones themselves through iFixit’s online store.

The firmware update comes bundled with security patches, with a gradual rollout to different Pixel devices.

Google identified the cause of the Wi-Fi bug on the Pixel 6 and will be issuing a software fix in March.

Google says other Android cables and power adapters might not work with Pixel phones.

Google said that the new Pixels’ battery cells were designed to “strike a balance between battery life, longevity and fast charging”.
