The Forbes and The Verge claim that Samsung has reserved the bulk of the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors for the Galaxy S8, which forced other phone makers such as LG to use the older Snapdragon 821 chipsets.

At MWC today, Intel announced a new family of mobile Atom chips that will come in three tiers, x3, x5 and x7, similar to the naming standard used by Intel's high-end Core processors. Expect to see the X3 family of chips in entry-level mobile devices, while the x5 and x7 will power mainstream and premium tablets and 2-in-1s.

Confirming the reports that leaked earlier this month, Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet which runs Android 4.0 and comes with the S Pen stylus.

A new report from South Korea says that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be released in stores sometime in May. The selling date aside, the report claims that the Galaxy S II's successor will measure 7mm thin.
