Panasonic's LX7 is the successor to their popular prosumer camera, the LX5. It features a much faster lens, among other improvements, and comes nearly two years after the release of the LX5. But even though the lens is brighter, the sensor size hasn't grown. Find out if that turns out to be good or bad news.

The Panasonic LX7 features a f/1.4-f/2.3 lens with a zoom range of 24-90mm. It features fully manual controls and can record 1080/50p Full-HD videos.

With a 12.1-megapixel Hi-Speed CCD sensor, the FX80 offers a 24mm ultra wide angle and 5x optical zoom, and is compatible with hi-speed, large-capacity signal processing required for 1920 x 1080 Full HD video recording in AVCHD/MP4 format.
