Sharp spiced up their AQUOS LED TV series recently by adding a yellow sub-pixel to the conventional RGB formula, and the quad-pixel color technology is probably better known by its "Quattron" moniker. Sharp's latest AQUOS Quattron LE820M model is a Full-HD installation which features a yellow subpixel on top of the existing RGB color filters. The LE820M also comes with Edge-LED backlights and Sharp's X-Gen panel with U2VA technology for a higher contrast ratio delivery.
