The MSI GS30 2M Shadow and its Gaming Dock could be the best thing to happen for those who find ever limited space to accommodate their computing equipment and yet still retain some form of upgradeability. The MSI GS30 2M Shadow is a unique combination of desktop power and notebook portability. It's a 13 inch notebook powered by a 4th generation Intel Core i7, Intel Iris chipset, 8 GB of DDR RAM and a 256GB SSD. It can be combined with its dock to increase its power via an included NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 and an optional HDD.

Aftershock's 14-inch (full HD display) Halo looks like an Ultrabook, but contains a full-sized quad-core processor for demanding professionals that need portability and power. It also comes with 8GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD (for speed) and a 750GB HDD (for storage). For graphics, the Halo relies on a the new Intel HD 5200 Iris Pro integrated graphics.
