Garmin has introduced two alternatives to the popular GoPro Hero cameras in the form of the VIRB X and XE, two new action cameras with built-in wireless connectivity for live video streaming and a wide array of onboard sensors to capture motion information.

GoPro has announced their new Hero3+ lines of cameras, with a 20% smaller and lighter design plus 30% better battery life. New mounting accessories are also available.
