A premium keyboard utilizing hybrid capacitive switches, a Topre switch with Cherry MX compatible stem and a TKL (Ten Key Less) configuration

Gaming has been a big theme across this year’s Computex and mechanical keyboards now seem to be the norm. However, these three boards offered just enough interesting features to stand out among the crowd.

At Computex 2014, on top of announcing a renewed lineup of the low-noise Nepton liquid cooling series, Cooler Master is also exhibiting Novatouch TKL keyboard with hybrid capacitive switches.

Apparently, Razer isn't satisfied with the industry-standard Cherry MX switches used on nearly 95% of all mechanical gaming keyboards. As such, it has designed and engineered its own keyboard switches, which Razer states "reduce the distance between the actuation and reset point by almost half to allow for faster, more precise gaming commands."

Cherry is partnering Corsair for an exclusive joint launch of Cherry MX RGB switches and keyboards in 2014. The two will first debut the Cherry MX RGB on Corsair keyboards at Corsair's press suite at CES 2014 this coming January.

With printed letters on the front of the keys instead of on the top, the QuickFire Stealth features N-key rollover, USB and PS/2 interfaces, and is tenkeyless, enabling more area for the gamer to swipe his mouse.

Incorporating Cherry MX switches, the tenkeyless QuickFire Stealth features printed letters on the front of its keys, media shortcut keys, Windows key, N-key rollover, and both USB and PS/2 interfaces.

The Poseidon employs Cherry MX Blue switches and features full backlighting, media keys, support for 6-8 key rollover, and the essential Windows key.

Incorporating the Cherry MX Blue switches, the fully backlit Poseidon features the essential Windows key, media keys, and support for 6-8 key rollover.
