Casio jumps onto the premium compact bandwagon with the Exilim EX-100. Just recently announced, we had the opportunity to try out the camera in Bali. Here's our first impression of Casio's premium compact.

A 12-megapixel camera featuring one-of-a-kind swivel function for perfectly-framed self portraits, the Exilim EX-TR15 comes with built-in wireless connectivity and a Live View mode, enabling users to control various functions of the digital camera remotely via their smartphones.

Most compact cameras are known for their significant shutter lag so it's especially tricky to snap fast-moving subjects. But the Casio EX-ZR700 looks to solve this issue with zero-shutter lag. It also sports an impressive 18x optical zoom, making it seem like an ideal compact for those who shoot sports and wildlife. Does it live up to its marketing? We find out.

Casio has released two new models in the High Speed EXILIM line of digital cameras. These two cameras, EX-ZR700 and EX-ZR400, offer responsive photo-taking features such as fast start-up, high-speed auto focus, and capture intervals of a fraction of a second.

The 16.1-megapixel EX-ZR1000 features a 24mm wide-angle lens and 12.5x optical zoom, along with a new HS Engine Version 3, a function ring, a control dial, and a 180-degree tilt-type LCD screen.

The Casio EX-ZR1000 will be available at SITEX 2012 at S$599, ahead of its nationwide launch. In celebration of Casio Exilim's 10th anniversary this year, Casio will be launching a Casio exclusive limited edition model at the show as well.

The 16.1-megapixel EX-JE10 comes with a 26mm wide-angle lens with a 5x optical zoom, and is preloaded with advanced features like the Make-up function and Art Shot. It also includes a joystick control to facilitate operation, even with long nails.

Wrapped in a textured, leather-like finish which fits comfortably in the hand, the 16.1-megapixel EX-N20 includes a wide angle 26mm, 5x optical zoom lens and incorporate advanced shooting features including Premium Auto, and Make-up mode which adopts a wrinkle removal effect.

Dressed in a glossy, manicure-like finish with a quilted pattern engraved into the design on the inner surface of the clear case coating, the 16.1-megapixel EX-N10 houses a wide angle 26mm, 5x optical zoom lens. Also, it is packed with advanced shooting features like Premium Auto as well as the Make-up mode.

In a ceramic-like gloss finish, the 16.1-megapixel EX-N1 features a 5x optical zoom, 26mm wide angle lens, and a 2.7-inch LCD. It also offers the Make-up function which adopts a wrinkle removal effect.
