Win XP Results - Unreal Tournament 3 and Crysis

Moving onto Unreal Tournament 3, we saw the Zotac GeForce 9800 GTX+ ZONE Edition put up a good fight against the HD 4850, matching it frame for frame across all three tested resolutions. It was also slightly faster than the 9800 GTX, which it is based on. Here, the HD 3870 X2 wasn't as impressive, though it still remained a strong performer.

We can see a similar trend in Crysis, where the three cards from NVIDIA and the HD 4850 all posted almost identical results. The Radeon HD 4850 only showed its mettle when running on the demanding 1920 x 1440 run with anti-aliasing turned on. Meanwhile, the Zotac GeForce 9800 GTX+ ZONE Edition couldn't even complete the benchmarking test. Still, despite being up to three times faster than the scores posted by the NVIDIA cards, a result of 12.91 fps is hardly playable.
