Nokia Gets Touchy

Nokia Gets Touchy

The Nokia gears are going into full overdrive ever since we've started the second half of 2008. On both the hardware and service front, we've seen the Finnish giant covering their bases well with the launch of their most recent flagship device, the Nokia N96, and following up, the public beta availability of their Ovi portal that brings their myriad of services together under one wing.

In the next few minutes, we'll be presenting the move that should have been taken by Nokia many months back when its competitors such as LG and Samsung have gone on the touchscreen route. But we're digressing. Here's the first look at the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, along with a video clip showing off the touch interface and other features:-

In the flesh (or actually, in the plastic/metal), here's the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, just before we started leaving our fingerprints all over this new device equipped with the Symbian S60 5th Edition touch UI.
