While benchmarking with actual games, we noted the same performance scaling on the Patriot DDR3-1866 memory while running at DDR3-1333 and overclocked at DDR3-1840 when compared to the benchmarks of the previous pages. However, you can clearly see which games were more GPU constrained than CPU dependent. Quake 4 responded very well to overclocking, putting out more than 10fps of extra performance with the overclock, and even the much older Unreal Tournament 2004 managed to take advantage of better subsystem clock speeds. F.E.A.R. on the other hand, went largely untouched from the memory, FSB and CPU improvements.
