The P7N SLI Platinum comes with a fairly competent BIOS with the usual MSI Cell Menu options, nothing too fancy for the hardcore overclockers, but enough to get things done. In fact, we had less trouble with the P7N SLI Platinum than the nForce 780i SLI based ASUS P5N-T Deluxe in terms of overclockability. The board had no issues with either dual-core or quad-core processors, pushing a maximum FSB ceiling of 475MHz, which is a high respectable number for a mainstream motherboard. This was achieved without much fuss on the board's part, with only a slight increase in SPP voltage needed. Push above 480MHz however, and our board started getting really unstable.
