Fully justifying its Extreme tag, the Leadtek showed emphatically that it is not some half-hearted attempt at overclocking. We were glad to report that even the standard and (soon to be departed) GeForce 7900 GT was outclassed in both 3DMark scores. The Leadtek seemed to have overcome its lesser pipeline count by brute overclocking and going by the results, it falls neatly between the GeForce 7900 GS and the GeForce 7950 GT. You can expect an 8 - 10% improvement over the reference GeForce 7900 GS and a smaller 3 - 5% boost over the GeForce 7900 GT.
