Results - Chronicles of Riddick & Quake 4 (OpenGL SM2.0+ Benchmarks)

Two OpenGL games that have been the bane of ATI cards for a while are up next. With these entry-level cards, the impact is greater, with only Quake 4 passable at a decent resolution of 1024 x 768. Chronicles of Riddick proved to be too demanding on their limited pipelines and at 800 x 600, the performance was not close to playable but ultimately not good enough. The scores between the two were close for Quake 4 and clearly showed that the Gigabyte is on par with the reference card, while the slight numerical difference in Chronicles should probably not make any significant difference.
