Conclusion
With the same processor and sensor as the flagship X-T3, image performance is largely the same on the more affordable X-T30. You get the same great autofocus coverage and the same ability to go up to 30fps using the electronic shutter in Sports Finder mode. You do lose out in terms of buffer size for both stills and video, and high speed capture options with the mechanical shutter, but otherwise there’s very little you lose with the more wallet-friendly model. You also get the handy focus lever for quick and easy AF point adjustments, so the handling experience is very close too.
Overall, for just S$1,399, the X-T30 is a highly competitive camera and is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a mid-range interchangeable lens camera.
