The ASUS EN8800GS TOP surprised us by doing very well initially in Unreal Tournament 3 at 1280 x 1024, though this did not last for long and it dropped to second last position, ending up ahead of only one card, the Radeon HD 3850 at 1920 x 1440. Memory size also had a hand in the close scores between the GeForce 9600 GT and the GeForce 8800 GT 256MB at 1920 x 1440, despite their massive difference in stream processors. We also have to nite the slightly unpredictable nature of the botmatch benchmark used, where 1280 x 1024 may not be the best indicator of a card's performance, even taking the average of multiple runs.

Crysis however was the most stressful of graphics benchmark now and memory size was certainly important here as shown by the awful performance of the GeForce 8800 GT 256MB, even without anti-aliasing. The ASUS managed a decent showing initially but anti-aliasing again proved too demanding for it (to be fair, all the cards here had abyssal scores).
