On paper, the A10 Fusion sounds like an underwhelming choice for the new iPad. After all, it made its debut over three years ago. However, as you will see in the charts below, it’s still a very capable processor and it will even outperform Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 855 processor in some benchmarks.

The iPad lasted 5 hours and 8 minutes (308 minutes) in our battery test. That’s 50 minutes less than the iPad Air but 43 minutes more than the iPad Mini. It’s a decent amount of time considering the brightness of the display and how loud the speakers go. However, it’s a long way short of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S4, which has a comparable 10.5-inch display.
