Here in the States there are a variety of Galaxy S phones. The SCH-I500 is the model I am use. The battery like is okay if...one turns off the GPS and WiFi. Left enabled those services suck up power faster than a vampire could drain Ris Low.

The swype keyboard appears useful once I learn how to use it. I am seriously looking at a 3,000 Mah extended battery.

The Galaxy S is a very good phone with none of the high cost associated with the iPhone and a great deal of user friendly tools.

im running the phone on darky rom and it works perfectly. the interface is good and i love the asthetic feel of the phone. the android market has lots of apps for downloads. however, the battery life seems to be a problem as i need to charge my phone at least once a day if i dun use too much apps or serve the net. otherwise, the phone is a good buy!!

Slight lag at times while browsing through the UI. The phone is plasticy and feels cheap... But otherwise, excellent phone overall!

All the plus pts are mentioned in the main HWZ review so let's hear the obvious bad about this phone. Design is a huge mark down by default as itz 80% iphone look alike. Though the slim design is very impressive and could be slimmer if not for the bottom(antenna), it will be much over looked. In general, multi-tasking is overrated as it will lag for now. defaults apps: thinkfree office and swype is amazing and the rest are almost useless but fear not, android market is huge n growing.

I disagree with the 7.5 rating for user friendliness.
Why no mention about data tethering...that is really what stands this phone out.
Its so easy to set it up I almost cried...
