Tat Chuan Acoustic has announced the Klipsch KMC1 Bluetooth Speaker and the Sonos Play:1 Wireless Speaker. These two wireless speakers may sound familiar to you as they were previously featured during CEE 2013 about a week ago.
A portable music speaker, the Klipsch Music Center 1 system is the second Bluetooth system, following the launch of the KMC 3, in the new Klipsch Music Center series at the CEE 2013. With soft-feel paint, touch-sensitive controls, it incorporates aptX technology for decoding lossless, audiophile quality sound when paired to aptX-enabled smart devices. Equipped with dual 2.5-inch full range drivers enhanced by dual 3-inch passive radiators, it peaks at 40W of system power enhanced by the advanced DSP equalization.
The Music Center lets you keep smartphones and tablets charged via a USB port, and plays virtually any non-Bluetooth enabled music source through its 3.5mm input. You get to answer, converse, terminate, and even ignore incoming phone calls. It also remembers up to eight previously connected Bluetooth-enabled devices. Operating on its internal lithium-ion battery with an 8-hour capacity, this wireless system includes a power supply with interchangeable international plug adapters as well as a 3.5mm to 3.5mm 1M cable.
A custom-designed mid-woofer and tweeter ensures the delivery of deep, rich, and surprisingly big sound. With a powerful low-end and crisp mids and highs, new smart processing technology pushes Sonos' drivers further than ever before, minimizing distortion even at full volume. Play:1 is built to last with premium materials and rock-solid construction. A sealed architecture creates resistance to the most humid conditions in the home, even steam from a running shower.
The wireless speaker allows you to stream and access music using a single, easy-to-use app. Play millions of songs and playlists from the most popular music services like Pandora, Spotify, Hype Machine and Rdio; listen to your personal music library, whether it's stored on your computer, in the cloud, on your smartphone or on your tablet; or tune in to more than 100,000 free Internet radio stations, podcasts, and shows from around the world.
The minimalist design of Play:1 features a new button on top of the cabinet that allows you to play and pause your music with a single push of a button. You can also press the same button twice quickly to easily skip to the next track. Customers with existing Sonos players can enjoy the new play/pause functionality with its latest software update.
