StarHub to Focus on Full Service Restoration, More Details on Compensation Soon

Following SingTel's announcement that all its services are up and running, StarHub just issued a press statement to update on the status of its fibre broadband service. As of 4PM today, about 500 StarHub fibre broadband customers are still facing issues with their service.

The telco reiterated that it is working hard with OpenNet and SingTel to rectify those connections that are still not properly reconnected. StarHub also said that SingTel will be reaching out to each corporate customer individually to work out compensation packages. As a corporate customer of SingTel, StarHub looks forward to such a discussion with them.

StarHub's main priority is to ensure full service restoration for their affected customers, whose services have been disrupted by the fire at SingTel’s Exchange. The telco will provide more details on its gesture of goodwill and appreciation to affected customers soon.

We just got word from M1 that as of 5PM today, there are about 300 fibre broadband M1 customers still having problems with their service. Similar to StarHub, M1 is focusing its efforts on restoring services to these customers.
