SingTel Launches Singapore's First Commercial 150Mbps 4G Service

SingTel today announced the launch of Mobile Broadband 150, the first 4G mobile broadband service in Singapore to offer speeds of up to 150Mbps, which is two times faster than conventional 4G services.

With this service, customers can enjoy these speeds at outdoor locations nationwide, as well as popular indoor locations such as Jurong Point, Raffles City, Tampines Mall, Bishan Junction 8, Bugis Junction and Changi Airport. SingTel is working closely with building owners and property developers to implement 150Mbps 4G capabilities in as many buildings as possible.

Mr Johan Buse, SingTel’s Vice President of Consumer Marketing, said: “SingTel continuously invests in its network to offer customers the fastest and most reliable mobile broadband experience. We are excited to be the first to launch the next-generation of 4G services in Singapore. With speeds of up to 150Mbps, customers will enjoy an unrivalled experience for multimedia content, web surfing, games and file downloads on the move.”

Mobile Broadband 150 will be offered with a mobile Wi-Fi modem from 11 May and a USB dongle modem from 18 May.
