SanDisk has announced its Ultra Dual USB Drive that houses both a micro-USB and a USB 2.0 connector, and its Extreme Pro USB 3.0 flash drive which offers professional-grade performance with speeds up to 60 times faster than standard USB 2.0 drives.
Designed for Android smartphone and tablet users, the drive lets you safely store and backup files, free-up space, or simply transfer multimedia between their smartphones, tablets, and computers. Just connect it to a mobile device supporting USB OTG to access up to 64GB of plug-and-play storage capacity. Its dual USB ports feature a retractable cover, so you need not worry about losing any caps yet still keep the connectors safe.
Also, SanDisk is making content management even easier with the SanDisk Memory Zone app that's available for download on Google Play. With the app, you can better organize files stored on internal and external phone memory for management, viewing, copying, and backup.
Delivering read and write speeds of up to 260MBps and 240Mbps respectively, you'll be able to transfer a full-length movie in seconds, or 1,000 hi-res photos in under 35 seconds, making the drive ideal for carrying video and photo collections. It's wrapped in a durable aluminum metal casing which protects against everyday wear and tear, and includes the SanDisk SecureAccess software that provides 128-bit AES file encryption and password protection to secure your private files while leaving the rest of the drive visible for sharing.
Also, the new drive is backed by a lifetime limited warranty and customer support.
