Microsoft is Offering Up to US$650 Store Credit When You Trade In Your MacBook Air for a Surface Pro 3

The Surface Pro 3 is touted by Microsoft as the tablet that can replace your notebook. And our early impressions with it was very positive. Hence, it is not surprising to find that it is going after other ultra-portable notebooks such as Apple's very popular MacBook Air.

Microsoft is no stranger to aggressive marketing and advertising campaigns and the latest sees them offering up to US$650 store credit when customers trade in their MacBook Air when purchasing the Surface Pro 3.

Of course, some key things to note about this is that the MacBook Air must be able to power up on its own to be considered in working condition, and it must also not be damaged by water or have cracked screens. Finally, the US$650 trade in value could vary depending on the condition of your MacBook Air.

Unfortunately, this promotion is presently valid only in the U.S. and it runs until the end of July. Hopefully we will have something similar when the Surface Pro 3 launches in Singapore. Alternatively, if you are heading to the U.S. and you have an unwanted MacBook Air that you want to replace, you know what to do.
