ASUS Presents G10 and M51 Desktop PCs Equipped with Haswell Processors

ASUS has announced the G10 and M51 Desktop PCs with the Intel Haswell processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics for smooth multi-tasking and high-performance gaming.

G10.

On top of being the first desktop PCs to incorporate ASUS's SonicMaster audio technology, they feature the ASUS Smart Cooling technology for cooler and quieter operations, and ASUS Power Pack, a removable UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that can also be used as a portable battery recharger for smartphones and tablets.

Equipped with the 4th gen Intel Core (Haswell) i7/i5 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GT640 graphics, both models are housed in floor-standing tower cases: the G10 has clean, chiseled lines with a brushed metal finish and indicator LEDs that reflects the operational state of any attached external USB storage device; the M51 has a matte finish with a textured front facade that resists fingerprints.

M51.

The ASUS AudioWizard audio interface allows sound settings to be tailored, while the Power Pack will keep the PC running for 25 seconds on battery power, and will automatically activate hibernate mode to prevent data loss during longer power outages. Also integrated is the Smart Cooling System that not only controls fan speed automatically based for an optimum balance of cooling and noise reduction, but additionally helps reduce internal dust accumulation.

Both models are packed with the ASUS EPU (Energy Processing Unit), a dedicated controller that optimizes overall system efficiency by monitoring the system load in real-time and adjusting power requirements accordingly. Users will also get additional storage, further supplemented by 32GB of complimentary ASUS WebStorage for three years.
