Intel Core i7-875K
The Intel Core i7-875K is a quad-core processor based on Intel's Nehalem microarchitecture. Fabricated on a 45nm manufacturing process, the i7-875K comes with an unlocked multiplier, allowing users to reach higher clock speeds and performance. It supports HyperThreading for a maximum of eight threads, and has Intel's Turbo Boost technology for an automatic increase in clock speed when using only a single core.
HWZ's Overall Rating: 8.5
THE GOOD
Unlocked multiplier brings out its potential
Good value for money
THE BAD
There's still a small premium for that unlocked multiplier
