I will give it a 8 stars rating. This is one of the biggest leap of improvements since the 2G era. The Retina display show crips clear small text. The design is perfect, slim & sleek. Military grade glass panels for both front and back. The buttons also have improved from the previous iPhone. The buttons are much robust than the previous iPhone. And to add on, the noise cancellation have been implemented, making voice calls clearer when in a noisy environment.

Apart from the design and features of the iPhone, no doubt there is an antenna issue. But that should not deter users to buy it. I believe that nowadays people buy phone with a casing. That should solve the issues.

Overall the feel of it is so much better than the previous iPhones. Try it, then you will know what it feels like.

Coming from a iphone 3G user, the 1st impression I have of the phone was how solid it felt in the hands. The overall design is definitely more polish even though its looks the same to some, and the new retina display is really sharp(probably due to the small area which the all those pixels are squeezed on). However, upon switching on and using for a while, I am kinda disappointed. The UI remains the essentially the same, and compromised multi-tasking isn't really that amazing. A faster processor works wonders, but then again nothing changed much in the UI. Its a progressive upgrade for the iPhone, one which i think some iPhone users will not see the need to upgrade from.

I will give a 7.5 if possible, but based on the current system, I say its a 7. 3GS users can just simply just wait for the next inevitable version of the iPhone if there's nothing wrong with their current iPhone, unless gadget lust got the better of them, while 3G users like myself will see more of a need to do so, especially since mine is on the verge of dying.

9 stars for the iPhone 4. Yea, i know this phone worth more than 10 stars. The reason i gave 9 stars is due to the reception flaw that many owners are having problem with. I have visited the Apple store and and tested it out by grabbing the phone using my left hand tightly with the bottom left hand corner covered (where the antenna placement is). There seems to be no loss of signal after holding on for about 30s. Its probably due to the batch issue i guess. Other than that, the phone is pretty much perfect. Apple A4 processor, retina high resolution display, 5MP rear camera, HD video recording, 512MB RAM (double the size of an iPad), LED flash, front camera for video call, aluminosilicate glass panel on both sides which so called to be helicopter windshield grade and more! What else can you ask for?
