28 Aug 2012, 22:21The product was reviewed with both considerations in mind - a tablet and a netbook. Given the OS, this is the best set of comparisons that can be made objectively. In any case, we've talked about the usability and pitted the battery life/portability against other competitive tablets. Do read the review in detail and you'll understand our viewpoints better.

25 Aug 2011, 16:59I feel that the HWZ staff has done a poor review of the Acer Iconia Tab W500. The product is marketed as a tablet but the review staff has chosen to assess its performance against similar CPU specified netbooks.
As a consumer, I would like to see an objective comparison against the available iOS and Android tablets.
An analogy for the HWZ staff review criteria is like saying the Galaxy Tab 7's CPU & OS is designed for a phone and therefore we shall review it against all other smartphones.
