NVIDIA refreshes its enterprise-level Quadro graphics offerings
NVIDIA has introduced a new range of enterprise-level Quadro graphics cards. Based on the Pascal architecture, the new cards join the current Quadro P6000 and Quadro P5000. Read on for more details!

NVIDIA has introduced a new range of enterprise-level Quadro graphics cards. Based on the Pascal architecture, the new cards join the current Quadro P6000 and Quadro P5000. Together, they target enterprise-level computing requirements that are gradually more dependent on GPU-based technology.

The highest end NVIDIA Quadro GP100 brings 64-bit double precision compute prowess to the table. At the same time, the card features 16GB of high-bandwidth memory (HBM2). The card is powered by the Pascal GP100, the same GPU that powers the Tesla GP100 compute accelerator. So it appears NVIDIA has taken the Tesla GP100 compute accelerator and turn it into a powerful workstation graphics card! And if one Quadro GP100 doesn’t cut it, you can opt to combine two of them with NVLink technology, and scale its high-bandwidth video memory to 32GB!

In addition to the Quadro GP100, the company also announced the following cards, the Quadro P4000, P2000, P1000, P600 and P400. The entire Pascal-based Quadro family looks complete for now, and they are likely to be posited as competitors to AMD’s upcoming Vega-based GPUs. The new Quadro graphics cards will be on sale from authorized NVIDIA partners worldwide this March.
