New Mac mini hinted in the firmware of Apple Studio Display

Apple's upcoming Mac mini refresh may have been revealed in the firmware of the Studio Display.

Developer @stroughtonsmith discovered references to a new Mac mini model, "Macmini10,1" which is an ID not used by any Mac mini to date. This led the developer to believe that it is an upcoming Mac mini model which will be powered by the M2 chipset.

Sources of 9to5Mac claim there are two Mac mini models in the pipeline; one with M2 chipset and the other with M2 Pro chipset. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects no major design change to the upcoming Mac mini model.
