Lenovo Launches IdeaCentre B540, Updated with Windows 8 OS

Lenovo has unveiled the IdeaCentre B540, an all-in-one desktop system that operates Windows 8 and features a 23-inch full HD widescreen frameless touchscreen display. The 10-point touchscreen also supports 3D viewing with FPR technology and its aural experience is driven by Dolby Advanced Audio.

Powered by a third generation Intel Core i5-3300s processor, the IdeaCentre B540 also boasts of an NVIDIA GeForce 615 graphics chip with 2GB of video memory. In addition to being an all-in-one desktop system, it can morph into a full HD television with its OneKey TV functionality, without having to power on the PC. The Lenovo IdeaCentre B540 is retailing at S$1,599 and is currently available through all authorized Lenovo retailers. The system first made its appearance at Sitex last year; however, it was loaded with the previous generation Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
